On-demand Cloud Service from ControlCircle

Breaks down security, cost and control barriers

A scalable, on-demand infrastructure has been developed by ControlCircle, a leading UK managed service provider, utilising industry-leading technology, including VMware, NetApp, Citrix, HP and Brocade.

The Hybrix enterprise cloud service has been developed for customers who require a reliable and secure environment to develop and test new applications or to enable on-demand capabilities for business critical systems. With Hybrix, customers can use the powerful Max3000 portal to create and deploy new cloud services whenever they are required, to whatever specification. Max3000 enables a comprehensive view into the performance of the customer's cloud and overall IT estate by leveraging ControlCircle's fully integrated monitoring services.

Customers can also choose a fully managed service where ControlCircle will enable the required services on behalf of the customer. Hybrix has no fixed entry cost, allowing businesses to easily transition to a flexible cloud-based infrastructure.

From the Max3000 portal, organisations can remotely view and manage virtual machines and IT resources to match business capacity needs to demand. Whilst leveraging the ControlCircle cloud, internal staff can shift focus away from time-consuming maintenance and management of traditional infrastructure.

"We've developed this service to provide workload mobility to enterprises who often need to run concept, comparison, performance or load testing in addition to their core operations," said Carmen Carey, CEO at ControlCircle. "Hybrix provides a flexible, scalable and secure infrastructure to vastly reduce cost and time overheads and ensure peace of mind when it comes to guaranteed mission-critical performance and security."

"Cloud computing is key to The Mobile Money Network's strategy as it enables us to grow our infrastructure in line with our business," said Jeremy Barden COO and IT Director at The Mobile Money Network. "Cloud gives us predictable future costs and enables us to avoid the upfront investment required with traditional infrastructure."

Hybrix has been built to support enterprise IT staff and their challenge to repeatedly build scalable systems - designing, configuring, deploying and managing infrastructure for development and production use.

Hybrix provides:

  • Flexible, on-demand service - VMs can easily be spun up and utilised to ensure the service a business demands at the right time
  • Secure multi-tenanted platform - Hybrix provides a secure environment for enterprise services.
  • Cost efficient - scale up and down whenever required while paying only for what is used
  • Transparent - through the Max3000™ management portal, you have full visibility of the performance and availability of your estate, enabling you to optimise your environment
